MacLeod posits that Social Objects are the fuel that powers WOM. He will be talking about the foundation of Social Objects from Aristotle's time until today. MacLeod will also discuss, Malinowski's discovery of the ancient Kulu and draw parallels as to how marketers can develop WOM campaigns that mirror the non-use items traded by the Kulu purely for purposes of enhancing one's social status and prestige. Attendees will also learn about the Nine Principles of Creating Social Objects. MacLeod's talk will be interlaced with his amazing illustrations and anecdotes of how being a cartoonist makes him one of the worlds guru's of creating social buzz.
